Stephen Belville

George had a 23-year career in the United States Army serving in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from the army in 1975 with the rank of Master Sergeant. For 10 of his army years he served in a joint command and spent time working with 21 governments in 4 languages. Christopher Benedict

  • Biography:
    Christopher Blair Benedict, "Benny," served two tours with the Marine Corps in Vietnam between August 1969 and September 1971. After his return home, Chris suffered from many physical and emotional wounds. His suffering ended on September 21, 1997.

    Uncle Chris was my favorite Uncle and I loved him dearly. I was 9 years old when he came home from Vietnam and we picked him up from the airport. I will always remember that day. I have many fond memories of my Uncle Chris and I will always miss him.

    For the past 17 years I have made the trek to Washington DC to say my loving husband's name at the In Memory Program. He will forever be in my heart!
